What do trunk liners have to do with racing? I'm beginning to think that this whole TRD thing is a scam.

It is a performance liner, developed for racing. Dyno tested.

97.5% of TRDs products are either nonrace parts or simply offer no realistic benefit for racing. I'm no engineer but I'm pretty confident the little strip at the bottom of your rear window doesn't affect down force in the slightest since there is practically 0000 airflow there. Just saying

I know. I was joking. Stoked about your build, BTW.

I know you were. I've considered buying that strip to keep the leaves out. Maybe they should market it that way. If probably have bought it if it was half the price (which would still be outrageous).

And thanks, I appreciate it. I hope to make more progress soon. Probably do a little simple wiring this weekend. Probably tease my diffuser too

It is great at keeping leaves out though

That's a new one. Just when i thought i'd seen all the silly TRD addons.

I do get super annoyed when i see leaves slip past that crack and into the taillight though.

Installed NRG hub SRK-125H and NRG Steering wheel RST-036MB-S-SL. Steering wheel is very nice. I know NRG makes some crap but not this one very nice dark black suede and very strong and sturdy. Nice silver stitching to go with 17' interior. More install details on my build page

Installed crankcase oil catch can and replaced oiled filter with AEM dryflow. Hopefully no more MAF cleaning.

I sure hope mine are scratch resistant. I have a small toolbox I keep in my trunk that slid around like crazy when I took my car for a quick spin around the block today. My old Jetta had 2 hooks in the trunk so I could secure the toolbox with a bungee cord, but this car has nothing like that

The box for the flooring I used had a picture of a dog on on it, so I'm hoping that implies it's resistant to scratches from your pets nails, warping from your pet peeing on it, or both.

Welp, it's pretty tough stuff, but the trunk monkey has a lot of spare time on its hands, to peel up the edges and delaminate it.

Add the hooks. Or Velcro or something

Replaced brake pads with Hawk Ceramic Performance. The stock brake pads were getting weaker. When I took them out, I saw that about 1/3 was left. I noticed when installing that the front pads were HB432Z.661 instead of HB711Z.661. The one I have was exactly the same dimensions with the other but it was missing that little spring below

Still worked just fine. So, whatever, I am not returning it. Any comments?
