Last night installed my Perrin 3" exhaust completing the first phase of my build. Phase 2 will consist of some cosmetic upgrades. Rims/tires/springs or coilovers and who knows what else.

Finished the harder part of this mod today... at least one of two sides...

I have to install to see if my adjustment on the pull cord is good. Uninstalled, the mod works great. I've yet to modify the driver side.

Also, I still have to make and upholster the cover... that should be the easy part.

I did at least couple things different than what I saw on the net with this mod. One was that I kept the spring; and two, I used a keeper pin to anchor the pull cord on the spring side.

Detailed write-up coming soon...

I may have this template cut from a thin aluminum sheet so it can be damn near perfect...

Consider painting the top of the screw that you used to anchor the wire black so you don't see it through the opening behind the pull.

Does that screw and the pull touch? Will they rub over time? You might consider offsetting them a bit by bending the part of the metal that the screw attaches to backwards away from the pull.

Looks great! Following with interest.

Thanks for the input... I was already planning on painting the screw heads black...I'm just not there yet... I'll leave those details for the end.

I have not noticed any binding, touching, rubbing, etc. between any of the components. I'll take a better look though... thanks.

Apparently 5-7 psi disappeared from my right rear tire, setting off the idiot light this morning on my way to work. Couldn't tell outright that there was an issue visually, had to break out the gauge after letting it sit for a few hours. Really hoping it was a fluke thing and not a slow leak, though the other three tires are all pretty much at spec.
