I'm actually a little higher than stock height because I increased rim size. I'm sitting at 18x9.5 +38mm.

I need coilovers as I'm extremely close to the struts.

The rims look a lot better in person, as most things do. You really can't tell they're sbc finish, with the photos I took.

You might not be higher if you got a tire that has a smaller sidewall than stock to compensate for the diameter increase on the wheel. What size are your tires?

245/35/18

So you are correct, because I believe stock it's 45? Sorry I'm new to all of this, first car and all. It feels like I have larger clearance up front.

You aren't a lot higher than stock. The second number is a percentage of the first 245*.35=85.75. 215*.45=96.75. double it, add to wheel diameter in millimeters (1 inch is 25.4mm). You end up with a 29.9mm difference in TOTAL DIAMETER. Less than an inch and a quarter. Your actual height difference of the car is 14.95mm or .588 inches

Okay cool, something I obviously didn't know. Barely noticeable when I get out of the car because I still feel like I'm an inch or so from scraping the curb. Damn Canada and their high curbs! It's just something I can visually notice, might just be my design background thats got me triggered.

It will be fixed by the end of the week hopefully with some new coils, I guess this is just a heads up for anyone wanting to run the same setup. I know a few members already are.

Thanks for the heads up though, still learning.

Get good quality coils the first time. Very happy with my Fortune 500s. There are many other great options but if you are looking under $1200 do plenty of research because there are not more than a few options that offer solid quality.

You are going to drop more with that driveway? I have problems with mine and it isn't near that sharp an angle.

Installed my Valenti Revos! sorry for the horrible pic but it was getting dark lol. I think they give the car a more premium look especially with the sequential turn signals.

First off, Sincho, thanks for serving our country ......

Secondly, as an ex military person, I don't think that military housing looks all that bad.

Nextly, I wouldn't park that nice car on the street.

As an ex real estate broker, I suggest you NOT buy a house, until you get out of the military ......generally, they are NOT a good short term investment anymore.

Old humfrz has spoke ......
