Hey Pleong, which clutch are you going with now? Southbend?
I'm super annoyed with my OS Giken TPC.

I drove an R32 with a twin disk for a little while and its pretty good. But you have to get used to it and really practice with it. When I first started I would stall because the engage point is so small and the pedal feel is soft. I say soft because I was comparing it to my Evo 3 with a 4 puck, that was stiff. I didn't have to stand on the pedal I didn't have to do anything crazy. I just had to get used to it. Adjust the pedal to your liking and the best feel for you. The rattle is just what multi disk clutches do, this doesn't mean there is a problem.

I meant why aren't you using this clutch for your spirited runs, not why you don't daily the car in general? I guess, why are you swapping it for the cm750?

My wife bought it for me as a gift LOL

I guess she didn't know I had a twin disc already

Just ran my OS Giken TR2C and fork conversion for the first time...at the SCCA Runoffs. There is a bit of a learning curve in 1st gear, but at speed, the shifts are lightning quick. We installed a clutch stop and it helped a lot.

As the clutch was worn in a bit more, the starting got a lot better. I am very happy with the setup for racing.

After increasing torque my current clutch it balancing on the edge of slipping and wot is useless. I'm currently looking at buying another clutch this time with a bit more headroom than what I have currently, ending up in the 500whp club. I don't see going anyhigher with the stock trans. I also, don't really have any gripes about my current clutch other than the lw flywheel chatter, which I'll be going back to a regular flywheel when I swap it. I've already picked up velox's clutch fork and pivot point too.

Currently looking at
-FX400
-South Bend Stage 3-4
-Exedy Twin Disc
-Clutch Masters Twin Disc

See my review of the Exedy Twin Disk Below. I recommend to you with closed eyes ACT six puck sprung with HD pressure plate. Has held my 500+ whp 380+ wtq for years already..

I do not recommend a twin disk to anyone on the street. When it warms up the on off switch is just unpredictable. Also FW chatter is nothing compared to the multiple disks chatter...

It was fairly good to drive 80% of the time. Allowed slipping, easy engagement. Pedal effort was noticeably harder than your regular 6 puck.

The other 20% of the time, it's an extreme on/off switch and there is no way to know when will it happen. It just happens and you will either stall or do a burnt out.

I sold it.

I still scratch my head at the awesome reviews it gets on other platforms saying its extremely easy to drive....

A twin disc really is completely unnecessary for these cars on the street. My fx350 held 370wtq (~470whp) and the pedal feel was nearly identical to stock. Can't stress how much like stock it feels. I also had zero chatter from the lightweight steel flywheel.

The fx350 is the perfect street clutch for anyone under 500hp.
