Man I'd love to go on a cruise, but I recently joined Safeco insurance and they sent me a OBD tracker for both of my cars. Meaning instances of rapid acceleration or hard braking might be detrimental to my discount. 90 days probation... well, I'm about 2 weeks in already...

Take it out for the day and if they ask, just say your knees "accidentally" knocked it out and didn't notice till night time.

So my wife's coworker knew a Safeco agent who set us up with a good rate. Unfortunately, these obd things came in them mail. So we have to go with it, or lose the discount that was given to us. Which amounts to $50/mo.

Well, I mean the discount for the OBD thing is a difference of $50/mo. It's about 1,100 for 12 months for 2 cars, which is a spanking deal. So it would be a significant difference if we opted out of this OBD thing. It only monitors for 90 days, which will be done soon enough.
