Check out the Harrop owners thread. @Trefoil is located in the south and running a similar setup.

You can always color match (or just blackout) the supercharger in a few minutes.

I'm so used to seeing blue OEM Super Coolant that the neon green threw me off

Hmmm... do you color match the WRB exterior or the GBS to match the engine compartment?

Already had WRB touch up paint, so that decision was made easily. Would probably look okay in yellow too.

Alright.... I have a situation here. I've been lusting after the harrop kit, but I have the chance to pick up a used Jackson Racing c30 kit.

Here are the pros and cons as I see them:

Harrop Pros/Cons
1. Pro, Looks
2. Pro, Eaton TVS compressor (more low end torque)
3. Con, Easy installation (but Jackson is easier!)
4. Con, cost... import/shipping plus I would rather this be installed by a proper mechanic so more $$$.

Jackson c30 Pros/Cons
1. Con, Looks... this thing is comparatively ugly
2. Con, Rotrex compressor. Its good, but it does not have the top-end upgradeability like the Jackson c38, also, more high-end torque than the Harrop, but less low end (I don't track my car so this matters)
3. Pro, Easier installation than the Harrop (can totally DIY it without doubts)
4. Pro, cost... at least 2k cheaper than the Harrop, plus this kit has the Jackson oil cooler included!

Conclusion: both are good kits, both are validated.

Help?! I Can't decide.

Just a comment - $2k cheaper maybe, but also new vs used... so not quite the same.
Personal preference for me = harrop. Seen plenty dudes install themselves as well - apparently not such a hard one to do either as long as you have a mate to help.

Well, after much deliberation I have turned down the Jackson and placed an order for the Harrop!

Price was quoted at $4825 plus shipping.

Other big news related to Harrop is also coming, so stay tuned - especially in the Harrop TVS86 Owners Thread!
