Yes. As long as your insured and have the mess scary coverage like
One that allows you to drive other people vehicles etc... Just make sure you get the new insurance for it as soon as you can this way you wouldn't worry but yes the trip from the dealer to your house if you have current car insurance you're fine. Also rates don't take too look to generate and lots of sites offer a comparison tool I suggest you input info and see your options so you have a company picked out and ready to go.

I got a feeling my car is coming in the morning, and with several people taking delivery I'm starting to have second thoughts on my choice of white...DGM is starting to be more appealing. Must stop looking at pictures and play this safe.

Why? Do you not like the look of white or do you think there are too many whites? It does seem like everyone taking delivery so far (not that there are that many) are either blue or white lol.

There are two dgm 2017s at a dealer by me. I'm going to check them out. I'd love to see them in person.

I think white looked really good, but I guess a lot of other people did as well and they're everywhere.

Just 'cause I think there's too many white lol I will wait until I see it in person and get reassurance that it'll be okay. Fortunately, there's another dealer that has the DGM in the trim I want so they could always do a dealer trade if needed. In the end, I'll end up with white probably just because it may be easier to work with.

I have heard of this from some, people ordering. They can't give you a VON when they don't know what vehicle they'll be able to get, or if they can get a hands on an AT WRB which I think might be rare since most of the first batch of cars is white. My advice would be to tell your sales that once he knows what car is going to bring you to give you the VON which will have the VIN and ETA. If you're having a bad time with the said dealer, it might be better to call around to see if there's a dealer that's already going to have a car of your specification already being on route to lot. This way you just deposit and drive away once the car arrive. The process of this current dealer trading might take a little longer, it also might mean they may put a couple of miles on the car to get it to their lot. They may also truck it over but I not too sure the process of your dealer.

Also they might have just already ordered the car , but they haven't been able to get a release date at port or an eta so it doesn't generate a VIN for a VON.

Good luck, also the others will probably chime in but this is my take on the situation.
Hey thanks for the response I really appreciate it. You are correct. Unfortunately I didn't read the fine print on the bottom of the paper that I signed it says NON-REFUNDABLE I should have been more careful and Learned it the hard way when you're excited the dealer (not all) will take advantage of you so I guess I'm stuck with this dealer.

I went to the dealer 8/20 and paid the down payment and they placed the order 8/24. They said they can only provide me with Sold Order Number and NO VON (they don't even know that) not ever. VIN will be available when the car is at the port. That's how they explained it to me. It sucks if you don't have anything with you that you can use to follow up with SOA specially if your dealer is not kind enough to give update on anything.

Good luck looking forward for more BRZ pictures that are arriving.

I wanted a silver but there's none in Manual in my area, you're lucky to have choices. There was A WRB and PR but they're all spoken for now. We will see what happens hehhehehe

I think you will be happy when you see it in person.

I was torn on Hot Lava or Flame Red until the day I picked up the car. No Ragrets.

I doubt that's from mine! They were inspecting it then. And I've already told them that. I've got a plate relocation kit coming in tomorrow from a friend that has a 2013 and bought it before he moved to Florida. Never used haha.
