OEM BRZ Car Cover Photos

I went ahead and bought the OEM Subaru BRZ car cover. I work in a dust bowl of a town and there are a few companies around us that paint vehicles. After finding a little over spray on my windows and paint while washing and waxing I figured I should pull the trigger. I've previously had an OEM Impreza cover for my 2007 Sti Limited and was pleased with the fitment.

here are some pics for those interested in how it fits and what material it is.

It is a silver-ish fabric that I'm guessing reflects some of the suns rays.

How much did you pay for it? Did you buy it at your dealer?

Yeah it was like $122.00 out the door. Though he gave me a 10% discount, just because.

Not bad at all, fitment seems pretty good. Been considering one of these.

Are you planning on covering it every day? That sounds tedious.

I say nothing is too tedious for a new car, especially this one.

I cover it every day and some times uncover it to go to lunch....... and recover it when I get back from lunch.

I did the same for my STI......back in the day.

Only difference is that the cover touched the exhaust tip on the STI. If the Tip was hot from driving it would have burned. I had to leave it up on that side, till it cooled off. This is not a problem with the BRZ's ultra weak exhaust tips that don't protrude past the bumper.

Any worry about it getting scratched up from the cover? That's always my concern, is crap getting under the cover and scratching up the paint when it's windy and flapping around.

anything that touches your car's paint will potentially scratch your paint. i would avoid car covers if you can.

for the OP, it was either get hit with over spray, or minor scratches from the car cover.

This.

I decided to deal with the dust scratches rather than overspray.
