Is it an automatic? I would assume you could get the same MPG all the time if you drive the same way. With a manual transmission, it would be tempting to rev it up to 8K once in while which would ruin your MPG.

Plan B for me is to get my hands on a 95-98 Celica GT4 and probably baby it, other than that maybe a new or used STI.

I'm also strangely attracted to the CR-Z. But I'd only do it with a non-hybrid drivetrain. Even if it were the 1.8l SOHC out of the Civic.

It needs to be fun to drive and have the right amount of power. The interior better be frikkin nice too i demand nav, leather, and a sound system like honestly the 370z has a nice interior it should be comparable even though it's for a lesser price range.

am i asking for too much?

if fail ill stick with my TSX till im done with my undergrad and trade it in for a new IS 350 or Boxster or whatever as was my original plan.

I wouldn't buy another car. I'd enjoy having more money since I am paying off my current car.

It fails for me if it's no better than my current car.

If the FT-86 is a dud, then I'll be joining Wings on his ash pissing escapade.

And then take the money I would've used for the FT-86, buy a AE86 coupe, and Levin-fy it....

Err, or finish my Hatch....damnit! Too many things to do.

Or get a Mk2 Supra and slap a 1JZ in there....

Or scourer the ends of the states for a clean ST165 All-trac....

See!? You can never go wrong with old skool!

If this failed (hope not) go to original plan a used lotus Exige S, Im not in a hurry I got my AE86 to keep my FR fun side occupied. I am willing to pay $40K+ on a great sports car like a BMW 1M my wife is pushing me to just get that vs the FT86.

I was thinking the same. Buy a used 07-08 Cayman S, or wait for Porsche to come out with a new style Cayman, hopefully 918ish.

if this fails...either get a gencoup (as my original plan before falling in love with the ft) or wait till the new lotus elise comes out.

That or just start working towards buying a house.
