Hahahaha go for it.... LOL.... Its to long for me to even bother.... I've had a few days away from GT5 to revive the passion LOL...... Honestly though i just cant get sick of the Ring...... Getting the car setup perfect for that track is surely more challenging than any other track? My mate i work with is competing for bragging rights and sent me a text saying he did: 6:59.238 first lap 6:55.718 second lap Tommy Kaira ZZ11 910kg/738kg Red times...... Dunno assistance but doubt he had any on.... Dunno tire choice either.. Before anyone blasts me i have no idea what car it is so if its a race car it explains the good times....??? |

once i'm done with Suzuka 1000Km, the 4 Hours of the Ring is next. however, since that's a time-certain race, i'll probably use something more equal to the other cars. i'll see if i can hammer around the Ring it the X2010 once or twice. my Bspec guys did it in 5:40.xxx. i'm certain i can beat that.

6:59 ad 6:55? The ZZ11 is not a race car, but it's way faster than the NSX Type R, which he should be faster than those times posted. Let him know 6:55 is slow for a ZZ11... My NSX Type R did a 6:53 remember (And that was only one and first lap)...ZZII should be in the 6:4xx rage.

i just remembered that my B-spec guys were running the Nurburgring Type V or whatever. anyway...
my first lap on the 'Ring in the X2010 was a 4:01.983 with one off-track excursion. if it weren't for that, i would have been in the 3:55 range. meh, oh well.

I think I saw a time of 3:xx for the X2010 on the Nurburg.

FT-86 GSport
It wasn't a perfect run (couple of corners I broke to late and it pushed out to far). Suspension was a little stiff since doing the Tsukuba Time Attack in the other thread, but I did improve on my PB time on the Burg with the GSport. With some softer suspension settings, and a better run, I think I can click off another second maybe two. This was first and only full lap, so cold tires for about half the track.

Will set my fully stock ft86 times up tomorrow. I prefer driving a car fully stock to bring out full driving skill and rely on the makers specs. Just my opinion.
But in regards to the red (flagged) laps, i would not count those as valid laps. To me, its like saying a hit baseball that lands in foul territory (when it missed the line by an inch) is fair. Its "unintentionally" taking a short cut. When i see the time flash red, i usually just reset. lol.

Hope they make an actual accurate version of the Nurburg Ring this time around... ![]() Reviews state it still has the permanent steering assist for the game built in. The other part I saw was that the wheel set to 900 degrees of rotation, on the screen it only shows like 200 or something like that. |
