If you want to improve handling and lower the car (0.8 inches) without compromising handling, i would go with RCE yellow springs. I had them for about 4 months and i have driven the car on back roads and it feels more responsive and well planted, think of it as an OEM+ set up.

Eibach are going to get you a lower profile (about 1 inch) and maintain current handling

Unless of course coilover buyer is of type like in one funny youtube vid i saw, that 1) everybody must buy coilovers & 2) everybody have to turn them to full stiff.
I have no idea where you got that either because I literally never said anything like that.

Anyway OP post pics of springs when done just to nip this thread in the bud

Found a place nearby called AsiaWorks. It has good reviews and it's only a 15 minute drive away. I got a bit worried when the guy told me over the phone that he has never worked on a BRZ before, but apparently he has a lot of experience with Subaru's in general so I'm gonna give him a chance.

My friend had his springs done there on his Corolla and he was satisfied with the service so there's that too.

I'm sure they will do fine. I had no experience with a BRZ, or a Subaru when I did mine

Here's the alignment diagram from Firestone in case anyone is skeptical about having to do it (almost -.5 toe in the front!)

Overall impressions: car looks great. During the drive home I definitely got the feeling that the car was more planted, and surprisingly the ride seemed almost smoother than before. Very happy with my choice.

Did you need any camber correction- LCA or camber bolts up front or was that all just natural camber from springs? Also, did you just ask for a stock alignment?

Yep, just a stock alignment, so no camber adjustments. I'm not sure what you'd need if you had tuned camber beforehand.

Stock struts, 17" wheels, no other mods to the suspension?

Looks like the perfect height to me,there goes my credit card!

Speaking of which, do you mind telling us what install cost?

Everything else is stock.

Install cost was about $340 including taxes and the alignment was $90.

I assume by 5 you're referring to the ride quality on a scale, so I would say a 6. Bumps and small potholes feel exactly as they did before, but the car sways less, especially when cornering. I honestly had no idea how much the car swayed until I drove it home from the shop yesterday and felt the difference.

I'm really interested in getting some brand of Springs, that's why I'm curious. How is the turn in or handling in general?

As in the dozens of other threads on this topic, you should get camber bolts for the front and add some negative camber.
