Please chime in with other off-the-shelf cat backs that meet the 92db or less criteria (at high rpm WOT) for sound restrictive tracks, with an open catless header and at most one hi-flow cat in the front pipe. Doubt that this is possible without a resonator or two.

What we have so far (added to the top post):
- Q300 (one of the quietest, lasted 20+ track days until it got some rasp - good cost/benefit ratio)
- TRD (not good as it blows packing fast on track)
- JDL (should work)
- Fujitsubo Authorize R (should work)
- Blitz Nur-Spec VS (should work, OP ordered this to try next)
- Perrin 2.5 resonated (should work, louder than Q300)
- ACE (should work, baffled/not muffled, in development)

It appears the JDL is also under development.

"Hello,

We are redesigning this exhaust system to incorporate our in house made mufflers. Photos and details of the exhaust will be updated shortly. If you have any questions please give a call.

Feedback on Blitz Nur-Spec VS - relatively quiet with very nice sound. Similar to Q300 when cruising - quiet and no drone - but opens up nicely on throttle without being too loud. Subjective - I like the Blitz VS sound the best compared with q300 and Perrin 2.5 resonated. Perrin was 2nd best. Q300 is the quietest and the best value proposition IMO. I'm very happy with Blitz VS because of the sound.

I ordered the exhaust 2 weeks ago and it should be shipping out shortly. @Chad86 actually posted their revised exhaust which shows the revised piping and muffler.

Is it baffled or packed? Please post up your opinions on how load it is after you get it installed.

Of course! I think for this info, you'll need to ask JDL directly.

So I just installed it last night and the exhaust is a little bit quieter than my Greddy Evo GT but has eliminated 80% of the drone I had. As far as how it sounds on the outside, I need my friend to drive it so I can judge but so far, it's maybe 20% quieter.

I let my friend drive it yesterday and it's probably just as loud as my Greddy Evo GT. It's not as deep but it's higher pitched.
Video for reference:

Happy with my stock catback since I like to remain quiet, but interested in this in case I ever change my mind. Would be most interested in ones manufactured in a way that would last a long time. I have actually repacked a dirtbike muffler with steel wool. Haven't ridden it enough to know how well it works long term though. Anyone have experience doing that?

My Flowmaster + repacked Magnaflow experiment didn't return expected results. It's quite loud at low RPM/ high load condition. I purchased Borla 140496 catback, which is the only one on the market with a main muffler before the rear axle.

I'll use the Borla's system up to my rear axle and from there weld it to my Q300. Borla Q300
