Tail lights: Spec D vs Tom's

Hey guys, I finally decided to get new tail lights for my Asphalt FRS. (kind of sick of Alteza style tail lights).

I have been love with Tom's tail lights (red! not the clear one) even before I had this car. But the Spec D is also looking pretty sick. The only problem I am having right now is that I just couldn't find any photo of Spec D tail lights on an Asphalt FRS. I know the Spec D is little more then $100 cheaper but it is not the fact that I am considering for.

How do you guys think? If were you, would you get Spec D or Toms? just by looking at the how it looks.

Tom's look really sick! I went valentis because they were more affordable for me and I love them! If they were to go out I would definitely replace them with toms. I like spec d but I wasn't feeling there taillights, there headlights on the other hand look really good. I vote toms

I also vote Tom's especially on a Asphalt FRS. It'll look really good

I used to have Spec-D and switched to Tom's I love them both. I would say Tom's especially for Asphalt can't go wrong with Tom's

I'd go with the Tom's. Have you checked out the Buddy Club tails? I have them and get complements ALL the time.

Tom's are the more conservative choice but kinda remind me of the vw beetle:

Only the clear ones do from what I've seen.

I probably shouldn't post this, but I just don't get the tail and headlight swaps that cost many hundreds. If it doesn't make me go faster or handle better, what's the point? I guess that is a millinial generation thing. $200 shift knobs too, I don't get it. Sorry. I'll fly by you with my stock lights and stock plastic reverse knob and 300 hp. I guess personal taste, just seems like a lot for parts that do nothing. i guess the younger gen put more emphasis on looks, and my gen more on performance.

There nothing wrong with posting your opinion! If anything I understand what you mean by the performance since for me I believe in having a functional car over form, but why not look good as well? I do agree that some things are silly expensive, I am a big believer in buying used items in order to save money. If I am able to find parts I like at an affordable price (performance and ascetically) I am going to go for it haha! As long as you are respecting yourself and the other's around you I don't see any harm in what you do!

People have been modifying cars for looks for decades...because people like to drive cars that they think look cool.
