Whatchya mean? He's got a link up to purchase the fogs? Or are you waiting on delivery of said part?

Oh... I guess I was asking if I have to email Yuki and ask for them specifically since there's no official part number for them yet?

Yep, you can email Yuki directly or go to this link to purchase them - http://www.japanparts.com/db/partsli...mat-subaru-001

I don't know why you need the part number? It's a JDM only part that wouldn't be applicable to the USDM Parts System.

So much lost in translation! I wasn't asking for a Subaru part number. I was seeing if you knew the Japanparts part number, like if they finally made an official one, because you mentioned they had to make a specialized part number for you. Also, I can navigate the site pretty well, but I couldn't find the 4G Impreza stuff for anything at a glance, so I guess I failed there. Looks like it's still you on there: "maymat-subaru-001"!

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and the link! hahaha

No worries brother! I'm always willing to be of assistance in any way possible. Especially for someone as OEM nuts as I am.

Let me know if you have any questions about the install. Be prepared with a good set of tin snips to make the brackets work.

Did you ever get updated pictures of the fog lights? Would love to see the final product with it lighted up completely.

Japanparts.com is the easiest. Those of us with STI cars primarily use it as the source. I linked everything in my own build thread.

Thanks! As @DSOmegaX said jparts. They are simply the path of least resistance and best customer service that I have had. I am in constant contact with them and helping them "stock" the website with parts that we all want to purchase.
I've tried a couple of the vendors on this forum to show my support but the service was sub-par and I continue to use jparts.
The shipping from Japan is insane but the parts seem to travel through time and arrive in a matter of days.

There's several ways to get the fronts and rears done. If you search or go through the modifications threads there are some very current ones.

I wanted all new parts. So I signed up with these - http://www.subarugenuineparts.com/pr...75ef077911ebbc

I then sourced the remaining clips, spacers, shims etc from my parts dept.

I then purchased Hawk pads/DBA rotors from tire rack that were applicable to the 06-07 WRX.

I then purchased stainless lines off ebay if I remember right.

Then it was just a matter of remove existing and install new.

I left the rears alone as they are completely adequate for my needs.

Like I said there are a multitude of brake upgrades that can be done to these cars. I feel as though this is the most lateral of the available options.

For most I will reccomend the AP, Alcon, Brembo, Wilwood, etc kits. These kits would be a serious "upgrade". I just couldn't justify the cost or increased performance for what is mainly a daily driver.

Damn dude, that's a lot of resourcing. I'm not smart enough to do that so ill probably have to spend more on a new kit :/

Yep. But considering I do things like this all day, everyday for my clients I don't really consider it hard or "work" when I'm doing it for myself.

If you want a performance upgrade to your brakes the easiest way is pads, rotors, lines, fluid and MCB stopper.

If you want a bling upgrade go with my set-up. The calipers aren't that much of an upgrade. It's really pads, rotors, lines, etc.

If you want a bling upgrade with added performance, go with one of the kits currently available in the aftermarket like Brembo, AP, Alcon, Wilwood, etc..
