Added some new custom emblems I made (front only). Also put on the STI sticker on the sides. Let me know how you like the new front emblem. Now no one will know what it is, mass confusion.

Got the old girl on the dyno. Also sadly broke 20,000 miles on her. No base line on a stock car that was there that day. I put down 176 whp and 140 ft/lbs of torque. Only power mods I have are the AVO silicone piping, K&N filter and Accelerated Performance catback exhaust. Attached is the Dyno sheet, overall I am very Happy. For comparison sack we had a BRZ with a Ecutek tuneand drop in filter put down 174whp 142tq. Had a FRS with TRD exhaust and TRD intake put down 178whp 144tq. Finally we had a FRS with a Ecutek tune, over pipe, drop in filter and APR catback put 180whp 146tq.

Decided to paint the tire logos today. Turned out neat used "premium tire lettermate." It looks good from a distance, up super close is a little blotchy. We will see what it looks like after it cures, cure time is roughly 24-36 hours.

I got the tail lights painted red and the lower triangle painted to match. They came out beautifully and in my opinion this is how the car should have came. The lights are bright as stock and will only get better clarity when I polish them out. It makes the gold wheels and white paint of the car really pop. Note that this is the next day and in a few weeks I will really polish it out and clear it up more. I would def like to thank Sidewinders in San Antonio for the hard work and great job. Was a good time hanging out with them. Cant make a better day, good people and fun modifying something on a car.

Update
Here are some pictures from 86 Texas meet and some from a Twisted Sisters Run. For anyone in TX this is a must drive, awesome corners and elevation changes. Even if you get stuck in traffic the scenery is awesome. I am now at over 27,000 miles and still loving it. So far I am issue free as far as problems (Minus the crickets, though I think this is sadly just gonna be the norm for the HPFP). I have decided the next mod will be the positive steering, under hard cornering the front end seems to get a little hairy on bumps. I will also try increasing the front negative chamber. As far as my tail lights you can see that they have polished up nicely. I still love this car and have no complaints about my purchase. Though more power would be nice, though if your on a road with lots of hair pins and s sections (twisted sisters) then the power doesn't become a issue. t -Alex

Nice car, looks really good ![]() I also see that you bought a Mishimoto catch can. Have you figured where to mount it yet? Just received mine yesterday and just trying to see what others have done. |

Havent updated this in a long time. Added new list of mods and pictures. At about 30,000 miles with no issues. I am loving this car on the twistys, really makes my STI feel fat. Finally finished interior over haul. I did all the JDM black pieces, Sti push button start, black ebrake button, red carpets (inner ricer had to) JDM leather knee and speaker pads, JPM coach dash cover, JPM coach instrument cover and cusco shift knob. All the black bits make it look so mean, no more silver. The JDM black pieces were relatively cheap.

Added some new parts. I added a Grimmspeed intake, but didnt upload pictures of it. I did 2014 STI brembo Brakes (bleeders swapped), stoptech pads and DBA rotors. To clear my new brakes I had to use 5mm spacers to get 2-3mm of clearance. I added Rexspeed side vents and extended mirrors. Also some new Dunlop ZII star spec tires.

Added a Driveway labs type 2A rear diffuser, very happy with it and easy to install. The big mod was a P&L coated Equal length header and had it tuned by PTuning on Ecutek. The car made some great power and am very happy with it. The torque dip is gone and I was able to pick up a ton of torque mid range. The second graph is after a few adjustments comparing the final 200 WHP and 160 tq.

I realize I havent updated this in a long while. Still loving this platform since the day I got it and have done significantly more to it. I have now gone back to a stock hood with volex louvers and a stock trunk which I will install an adjustable wing on at a later date. I have also switched to a APR front splitter and STI side skirts.
For performance mods I have everything listed below. I have about 4,000 miles on this new setup and absolutly love the supercharger and the new coilovers. The supercharger gives it a great power band and the coilovers make the ride smoother then stock with more agility on corners. I am currently tuned by delicious Tuning and their customer service has been amazing. I will later switch to the high boost pulley and switch to flex fuel once I get used to or tired of this power level. I hope to continue to mod and enjoy this car for many years to come. Coilover review: I have had these on for about 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoy them. They are much more streetable then my 4 year old buddy club racing coilovers. There is a lot more adjust ability and you can tell the valving/spring combination are thoroughly matched (better then stock ride quality). I am running about 6 clicks in the front and 3 in the rear from full soft. This makes commuting great while still allowing for good road feel/feedback. I get a alignment Friday and then will dial in more of a backroads setting for a better start point when I track it next year. I waited on the alignment since I didnt change the ride height much from the previous setup and made sure to mark all chamber bolts to ensure they were installed back the same. The spring perch collars are super easy to adjust and love the locking allen bolt concept over dual locking collars. -Alex Engine Jackson Racing C38 Supercharger Jackson Racing Oil Cooler 2017 intake manifold New case halves, front cover, water pump, timing, etc. Brian Cower I Beam rods JE Pistons 10.5 ARP Head studs King Bearings GSCs single spring valve kit with Titanium retainers GSC valves and guides Heads port and polished Mishimoto Radiator and fans with shroud Radium Dual Catch Cans Drivetrain Cusco Clutch fork Spec stage 3+ clutch kit Driveshaft shop Carbon fiber driveshaft (waiting to install) Fuel Full Blown racing 485 fuel pump kit Radium fuel rails Velox fuel starvation door Fuel Injector clinic 850cc injectors Suspension Race Comp Engineering Super Street Series 1 coilovers Perrin steering rack lockdown Perrin Positive Steering Response System bushings (zero) Whiteline roll center kit (tie rod ends) Gauges AEM eugo AFR AEM Oil Pressure AEM Oil Temp
