Yeah I actually just ordered that. I was unsure at first if I was a fan of it. However after seeing more cars I went with it. I got the gold one since I though it would accent the colors I have in there now. With that I go the fuze box cover. I am still thinking of smoothing out other plastic pieces and hydrocoat them. We will see. I will update pictures when I get the pieces in as well as with my Mishimoto catch can.

Thanks for all the comments.

I guess I am not that worried as far as temps at this time. I did upgrade to the 1.3 bar coolant cusco cap to increase pressure. I understand the intake cover will collect heat, but I dont think it will be enough to adversely affect.

New Password JDM Goodies. I got the bolt dress up kit and Carbon fiber fuse box cover. The only issue I had was the line clap doesn't fit. Other then that it looks great and I am happy with it.

More items in the mail.

I installed the F n A rear lower brake light kit 3. I should have taken more pictures of the product. It came with all the needed splicing clips and all the wires were heavy gauge wrapped in a hard plastic shell. The kit is top notch. The install with the instructions is very easy, anyone can do it. One item that was a little tuff was on the trunk grommet that you feed the wire back through already has a wire through it on the limited BRZ. I had to use a razor blade and do a few criss crosses to make a opening to feed the wires through (grommet is already through the wire and I was too worried to drill, wires were very small/fragile). Everything else was easy. The light looks great, I know I need to do a video of the flashing. Mine seems to flash 3-5 times before going solid when the brake is applied. Everything works great and had a friend follow and confirm it was bright enough and the flashing is noticeable. So overall well worth the money.

The JDM coach piece has a huge write up in the DIY form. The item is top notch and only requires the removal of 1 screw. Then simply push up on the top piece with both hands and it pops out. Simply put the new item in and put the screw back in, BAM that easy. The quality is exactly the same red thread throughout the car and the fabric feel the same as the sudo swede material on the BRZ limited seats.

Both Great mods that really step up the looks of this car and make it look much better. I still don't understand why the rear fog light wasn't put on the BRZ/FRS here, the design is already done.

Today I decided to tackle the side skirts, Perrin shifter bushing and whiteline transmission bushing. The side skirts when on fine, though the lift I used didnt allow me to align the side skirts perfectly. Near the back there is a 1mm gap on the trim and side skirt, most will not notice though it bugged me at first. The side skirts finally finished my ground effects kit and really brings everything full circle. In my opinion it should have come with something like this, it makes the car look much more sporty and adds to the overall lines of the car.

The shifter bushing is where it all went wrong. I had no problems removing the old bushing or putting on the new one. The issue came when I had to rotate the bushing. I couldnt get it to rotate around due to the new harder rubber and clearances around it. I asked a gentlemen (mechanic at Sprockets, for those that are lucky enough to have access to this facility on post) to help me and help pull a little on the driveshaft........well he pulled too hard and almost hit me in the face when the shaft bent down at the joint. It also pulled a little out of the input shaft. Thus making me have to take apart the driveshaft at the middle section. Let me tell you this can be a pain. Once I finally got everything buttoned up, I moved on to the trans brace. All was easy here until I had to bolt everything up. The threads on the aluminum transmission mounts were buggered up. I had to clean up the threads on 2 of the 4 bolt up locations. For anyone without a dye set I warn you to be careful since a steel bolt will strip a aluminum hole in a heart beat.

Overall I am very happy. The side skirts look great! The shifter feels 100 times better. It is much tighter and smoother. You can really hear the clicking into each gate and makes for a much higher end feel.

This is a great build! I appreciate the feedback and write ups you've done on all your mods, gives me a lot more confidence to purchase something online without actually seeing it in person. ie. 3rd brake light from FnA Auto.

So, I wanted something different. I dont like the current side vents on either the BRZ or the FRS/FT86. All the vents are bland. So I ordered the fake chrome trim and had them Hydrodipped at a local shop here. High PSI Motorsports here in Texas, was able to do and do it cheaply. This I think is a cheap option to make the side vents pop without costing too much or going way overboard.

Had the 17x8 45 offset Rota Titans on thanks to wheeldude. I wrapped them in dunlop Direzza ZII's 235/40/17. I also put on the stoptech steel braided brake lines, HPS pads, DBA slotted front rotors and blank rotors in the rear. I am supper excited to hit the back roads or Twisted Sisters. So the only think left is safety equipment or engine mods. So who knows what will be next
