not all 245/40s are the same. it depends on the tire manufacturers. FYI.

225/45 and call it a day. Literally everyone makes a tire in that size so your options are plentiful.

225 is a great size. I run 17x9 57 extremes with a 225/45 tire. they are perfect.

Ignore the people recommending 225's. That's seriously stretched on a 9" rim.

The minimum tire size you should be running is 245/40.

Also incorrect. But I guess that's the Internet.
Many tyre manufacturers recommend 235s for 9" wheels.
