You will absolutely need a breaker bar to break that bolt loose. I was leaning on it pretty hard before it broke loose. From there, you can swap out and use a regular ratchet. I am a bit worried about the amount of torque I was able to put on the bolt when I was putting it back on. I'm afraid I wasn't able to put the 99lb/ft required. I'm probably going to order the pulley tool just to be safe. It keeps the pulley from rotating while you are torquing the bolt. Hope you get it on there. My car is running smooth as butter after the pulley change.

Had my car detailed and opticoated! The drive home in the rain was amazing as each drop of rain tried its hardest to stick to my car without success.

Yep. I have the front half peeled but haven't gotten to the back half yet. Maybe this next weekend. Then, it's off to the paint shop for a proper satin matte paint job.

cool...good for you. I'm thinking about plastic-coating the front bumper with clear for the winter...any issues with the paint underneath when you peeled it off?

No plastidip comes right off. Just put at LEAST 5 layers or more

If you're laying it on with an HVLP gun, it'll peel after just one coat. Of course, for full, even coverage, you'll want at least 4 coats.
No issues with paint and it actually saved my bacon when I hit a full trash bag that had fallen off someone's trunk. Ugh, couldn't avoid it and I expected the worst. No problem due to the full-car bra.

Cleaned out my garage and put my car in it! In 6 years at this house, its never had a car in it.
Washed it again as well. Got a few more nicks on the bumper. This paint is SOFT. Going to get a clear bra now... |
