Does it hide behind the rear view mirror well? I want one but would like it to stay hidden. Where did you run the USB cord to?

That appears to be the Samoon 3H2F if I am not mistaken. I am saving for the DR550GW from blackvue if only they can get the video quality up on the 2 channel one.

There was a County Sheriff right behind me who saw the whole thing. He gave me a report # so I called my insurance and they are covering it under comprehensive (which I have $0 deductible) since it was a moving object. I guess if it was sitting still and I hit it, that would have been collision and I would have had to pay $500 deductible. Just sucks it happened.

When you get it PM me and let me know the video quality...reviews are back and forth on the quality of the DR550GW / 2ch ones. especially at speed.

That is awesome you had a professional witness behind you! it sucks it has to be repaired but at least it isn't 500 if he wasn't there to give you proof you didn't goof and hit it.

Also, I really like your exhaust...I stalked your profile and its a TRD exhaust? How is the fitment with that diffuser? any melting yet because it looks nice and flush.

Thanks. It is a TRD catback, picked I up slightly used a couple weeks ago. It's a little louder than I wanted inside the cabin at highway speeds but that's not the exhausts fault..... poor sound proofing in this car, so that's future project.

Diffuser fits really well for a $65.00 knock off. Did not have to remove the rear bumper to install, just used the provided hardware plus a few nuts and bolts of my own. I don't think the exhaust tips ever get hot enough to melt it anything back there. We shall see.

I've owned just about every tail out there and these are right at the top of my list for best tail light, even over the Tom's which most people have a hard-on for these now a days. Don't get me wrong, I love the Tom's too, I just have a soft spot for a nice smoked tail

Will post pics of 4th brake light when I get time to install...

are these easy for other drivers to see during the day?

I cannot see it from the drivers seat, sits nicely behind the mirror. I ran the provided USB cable from the glove box 12v outlet, up the A pillar and under the edge of the headliner. At some point I might hard wire it to constant hot voltage source so it records all the time, but I have to play with it for a while to see if I want to go that way.

I would track the construction company. It's their responsibility.

I took her to meet Tony Stark!

And if you don't get it, this is the Nikken Building in Irvine, which is used as the exterior backdrop for Stark Industries in the movies

The more you drive, the more the 86 will teach you how to drive "IT".

Had mine for about a month now, they updated the firmware last week.
Real good quality, rear camera is a bit less sins it has less resolution then the front.
BTW, running the rear camera wire is a piece of cake, remove the dome light
and the middle "plug" by the rear window on the roof liner.
Tape the coax cable from the camera to a metal roll up measuring tool.
(Don't know the word for it) and feed it true.
Let me know if you need more info.

how did you run the wire to the back ? the cord is long enough ? any videos of the back ?

Also, did you use add a circuit ?

thanks

Remove dome light, tape the wire for the back camera to a "Tape Measure"
Remove center plug from the roof liner in the rear, and u can pull the
tape measure with the wire towards the dome light opening...
The cord is very long, and I mean very long! (mine is rolled up underneath the roof liner by the dome light)
I did use add a circuit, with the Black Vue's power saver module.
It cuts of at 12 Volts and it does so after 3 days.
(Don't drive the car daily sins I live at work, great morning commute)
Will try to get some video posted later today.
