Well, yesterday...

I purchased and installed some RCE Yellows. Still need to put them through their paces.

Gave a shot a plastidipping the wheels. First time, so not perfect, but happy with the results. Black with like 5 coats of silver metalizer

Just passed my 1 month mark of owning my BRZ and so far I've installed my Rydeen camera, Perrin 2" shorty antenna, 8" sub, got the windows tinted, and I'm waiting for the Perrin 4" Slash Cut Exhaust Tips.

I'm no speed racer on the streets. I'm only purchasing items that will make my call look a bit more sleek and luxurious.

not today but this past saturday I did the ....
1. magnetic license plate holder mod and
2. switched out my side markers for clear

Side markers were a pain to get out and in but I think I figured out the secret to getting them back in for those who have had trouble getting them to snap. Took a bunch of pictures of the process but will take me a while to document.

hit a pothole and got a flat. subaru roadside assistance said it would take an hour to get someone to help. so i just changed to the spare myself. roadside assistance also told me they did not know if the tires were covered by warranty, and i'd have to call the dealership directly. dealership looked at the tire, said it is NOT covered, and NOT repairable. they want $208 to replace the tire.

also found a door ding on the passenger side when i washed the car on sunday. $150 to fix.

not a great week.

I hear ya. Two weeks ago I ran over a broken piece of silverware:

I had to replace my tires with something. The stock tire kept getting quoted to me at $217-$223. Instead I paid $250 and got two Toyo Extensa HP High Performance All-Seasons in 225/45R17. I got that staggered fitment baby!

Crazy I can pay for two tires at the price of one. My car is tail happy, but I'm insane because I actually prefer less traction.
