I can't take credit for it, some other owners had purchased it and recommended it. Seller was great and shipped it quick.

Installed my clear side markers, LED turn signals, LED side marker lights, LED reverse lights, and LED license plate lights. Kinda an LED day.

Had the 1st preventive maintenance service yesterday at just 1,090 kms. Dealer used Motul H-Tech 0W-20.

Right after, went to a local tuner to have my 1st mod installed: the Greddy Comfort Sport GTS ver. 1 JDM axleback exhaust.

Short review: Loving the "JASMA" sound--that smooth deep tone that's just over stock, and sometimes as quiet as stock in certain conditions. Reminiscent of large canister HKS Cannonballs and Tanabe G-Medalions of more than a decade ago. (Remember those?) Wife approved. This exhaust, along with the sound tube delete makes for a satisfying and non-irritating in cabin experience. Build quality is also out of this world...Made in Japan goodness right here.

...although to be honest, I miss the boxer rumble that I enjoyed with my ol' WRX. Just not there with the BRZ.

I've heard other people say the same thing, but I didn't believe it until I experienced it for myself. I've had a few lowered cars before, mostly on coilovers, and the ride was always harsher, but not so with these springs. They're better in every way.

It actually surprised the shit out of me. I expected to get tossed around on every bump, but it just didn't happen. I even had to take 3 speedbumps and not only did I have no issue clearing them, the new springs took them better than my stock springs did.
so you think its a good idea to get them installed?
that is odd that it would ride better and smoother.
how much was the kit? part #?
thanks for the info

and it lowers the car 1 inch?

I haven't decided how I feel about the Tom's yet. They look the cleanest, but they keep reminding me of a Chevy.

Fairly easy install if you have a floor jack. No 3M, but about 8-10 small holes drilled. Took me about an hour.

Don't worry man, it isn't a big deal. I still stall the car every once in a while and I just think "Well, more gas."

I had been riding dirtbikes since I was 3 and started racing when I was 5, which meant I had to move up to the 65cc class and ride a bike with a clutch. I hated it and refused to learn. Finally did and can ride any motorcycle now no problem. I had never driven a manual before I bought my M3. Girlfriend came along, "You know how to drive stick, right?" "Oh yeah sure! been doing it for the longest time!" First ten minutes were a little... Turbulent. To say the least, but I had to drive the car 60 miles home so I figured it was good enough incentive to teach myself on the way home. All those years of motocross payed off with learning to drive a stick. Still feels weird shifting with my hand and clutching with my foot though...

I really want them...but the price is a bit much. I'm thinking of going with http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40326 but I'm just not sure at this point...
