Hit 1000 miles, survived a hailstorm, and needed a jump from Subaru roadside after taking a 10 day vacation and finding the battery dead. Jump start guy said I need a battery tender if I'm not going to drive more than 4 days

I left my car at the airport for 11 (very long) days last month and didn't have an issue.

How difficult was this, and how much drilling did you have to do? Is there any 3M tape involved as well?

Installed JPM Coachworks alcantara cushioned kneepads, and the Kahtec 3rd brake light smart blinker module to avoid getting rear ended... good stuff.

I have the sideskirts and they're incredible. They add a lot to the look of the car, and they're painfully easy to install. I was expecting it to take the better part of an hour or two but it took 30 minutes. Held on by clips and a few screws in all easy to get places, and is very sturdy and isn't coming off.

My $10 Ebay shorty (2.4") antenna showed up to day. Big improvement (IMHO) vs the stock in terms of aesthetics. I don't notice any difference with radio signal strength vs stock.
I always felt the stock antenna looked way too big for the car... Shorty vs stock: ![]() Installed (took about 5 seconds):

Hey, I've been driving a clutch since 1973 and I stalled this car more in the first month than all my cars combined since 73......kind of like driving a car with disc/drums and the first time you drive a 4 disc car you face plant yourself against the windshield.........learning curve.....
