Who gets their service done at Longo Toyota?

Long story short... this past weekend I had my frs on jacks and i noticed that oil drain plug had silicone around it. I called Longo, and they said that they do it on all vehicles so they would know if the vehicle has been tampered with after the service. If anyone may... please take a look at your oil drain plug to see if you have silicone on your drain plug as well.

Thanks,
Davis

I have no idea, but I'm going in to get my last free oil change from them next week. After that im doing it myself, so im going to ask them if they do and see if they can not do it to my car.

I get my car serviced at Longo, I just tried looking at my car but it's too low to notice any difference to the drain plug.

Just know that when I was a Tech for Toyota at another dealership, we did not put silicon on the drain plug. It could mess with the seal of the washer. It could be a Longo specific thing.

Thanks I appreciate you confirming with me. I just find it every odd that they do that as a "tamper seal". I think s simple colored marker marking would of been fine. I have taken a picture of the silicone on my drain plug.
