adding sti parts for performance is fine, adding sti parts and stickers and pretending it's an sti isn't.

FINALLY someone actually type STI instead of STi

Anyways, currently Subaru don't sell acutal BRZ STI (other than just as an accessories), I don't think we don't need to worry bout that.

But there's always ppl that go w branding and be a **** bout it. lol

That kind of comes off as a double standard.

I wanna see the STI of the STI versions... like the Spec C - RAR, S20x and the most famous 22B

It's not the same in there is no Corolla -> Corolla XRS -> Corolla XRS TRD like there is Impreza -> Impreza WRX -> Impreza WRX STi

So there is no Stigma.

"You got TRD crap for your Toyota! COOL!"

as opposed to..

"Dude, why you puttin STi sh!t on your WRX? Couldn't afford the STi? Lame!"

How do you figure?

I had Type-R parts on my GS-R but never claimed it was a Type-R.

Having an Integra LS for example and putting Type-R stickers on it and telling people it's a Type-R is rice. It's all fake. The intention isn't performance it's trying to pretend the car is something it's not. It's no different then adding a MR2 Turbo badge to a Non-Turbo, it's not performance, it's fake/rice.
