[Shit Luck]

I just went through hell trying to get my parts from them...
they were supposed to ship to my local airport but instead shipped to an airport 8 hours away.
then I was told tough shit by them. ended up paying almost 400 in shipping and paying for a trip to get my parts.
never again.

Interesting I've order small stuff from them with no problems at all. Did your order confirmation have the right airport on it?

I paid for shipping to HIA the company they chose shipped it to JFK. they did the paper work wrong so I had to go to customs myself and clear it. they refused to refund(even if they did I could have been charged with abandoning property at customs). the company they shipped with had no way to ship to HIA. I eventually got the item to Philly so I could pick up and do customs there.
they kept telling me to clear customs then they would find a way to ship it to me for more money. if I had to go clear customs why would I not just pick it up while I was there.
even the company they shipped with sent numerous emails trying to get them to reimburse me because they don't deal with individuals(corporate shipping company). it got the point where after they item didn't clear customs on my first trip to philly the shipping company sent a representative to customs with me to clear up the legal mess.

I just have them ship to my house. But yeah, I've never had any issues with them. Plus most things they ship arrive much earlier than estimated. I think it was my nur spec body kit which they said something ridiculous like 8 weeks, and it was here in 2.

I got a random email from japanparts.com today.
they ended up refunding my shipping costs today. In the end they actually tried to make it some what right.

It's calculated at customs, there is certain shipping methods that do cover these things for you but they are pricey shipping options.


Most times you don't get hit that hard by customs but it all depends on the custom's agent that processed the package, if he's having a bad day expect fees lol.
