Happy Birthday! You're a 3rd of the way there... don't worry 30s are better than 20s you know what you want out of life but you are still young enough to enjoy it.

OK, if that's the case I'll cover the Camaro or Corvette contingent.

While leases are not sound financial investments or ideas (especially if you want to buy the car) these corporate leases that cover absolutely EVERYTHING (or as Doug Demuro would say, from bumper to bumper) are the easiest way for me to afford this particular car.

Also, if I lease a 2017 then Mazda has another four years to get their shit together and make me a Miata coupe. I'm hedging my bets on a cooler car than the FR-S coming out in the next four years.
The thing that scares me about leases are like suppose you get a chip in the paint or a dent from a shopping cart... do you have to pay a dealer repair rate when you go to bring it back? I love the concept of driving a brand new car every other year (although I would prefer every year).

If you can't afford to do it any other way then that's how it's gotta be. $300 for everything is a pretty good deal. I wouldn't hold my breathe for an RX7.1 though...

You can play free autocross, extreme edition! We all take turns being slalom cones while rotating being the driver of the mustang.

I think that game would be brief!
I drive first.

Depends on the lease agreement. My wife leased her first 3 new cars and "normal road wear and tear" was included in the agreement as no extra charge. Stone chips and shopping cart dings were considered "normal". Big dents or scrapes were not.

If I didn't do so many miles in a year I would lease in a heartbeat. The whole "not have anything left after the lease is over" thing really only applies if you keep the car long enough after it is paid off to absorb the depreciation. I don't so am always trading in a car after 5 years for about 30% of what I paid for it. In this case I may as well be leasing and getting a new car every 3 years but the mileage restrictions make this too expensive for me.

Doesn't Mercedes have an unlimited mileage lease?
