See? Lets make it happen man! Even if no one else shows up, I count at least 6 people that's willing to make it happen Plus more track and auto-x time for us! LOL

I can help spread word around the area and get a WA state caravan going, then we merge or simply meet up with the OR state peeps, finally cruising on down all together.

I'm willing to offer any help if needed, if you do decided to go 100% with the idea.

And to the topic of buying a car as an investment... If I were to be fortunate enough to ever own a super/exotic car, I'd drive the piss out of the thing. Fuck the Lambo being a garage queen, I'd take it out to the mountains and backroads... or even the track

Its still a better investment than a lease where you pay money but in a few years you don't have anything to show for it. At least with a loan you actually have a car. I never meant buying a car is like owning stocks or an apartment building

Sounds like a epic segment for TopGear:FT86. I could be up for that. Might have to ship the car across country though.

Think about it this way though. I can afford a $300 lease that covers absolutely everything. I cannot afford a $300 loan payment, and $100 insurance payment, and incidentals.

While leases are not sound financial investments or ideas (especially if you want to buy the car) these corporate leases that cover absolutely EVERYTHING (or as Doug Demuro would say, from bumper to bumper) are the easiest way for me to afford this particular car.

Also, if I lease a 2017 then Mazda has another four years to get their shit together and make me a Miata coupe. I'm hedging my bets on a cooler car than the FR-S coming out in the next four years.

I'm crossing my fingers on that s2000 replacement if it ever happens.
