Yeah most bulbs come in pairs anyway (mostly so companies make more money). But on my 74 they may not even be stand alone bulbs... Yet still only $6! http://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo....nid=372&jpid=1 That's the cool part about old cars.. even though they break all the damn time, the parts are usually dirt cheap. My fuel pump was $20 (also just a mechanical fuel pump not even electric...)

I just polished out the R30 yesterday, washed and waxed it. It looks good, but I still hate cleaning my cars. The last thing I claybared was the windshield on my wife's Mini. Even that was almost too much.

I'm seriously thinking about keeping it real and doing the GT-R in grey primer. Let my white trash flag fly!

I have no problem doing other work on the car (I actually enjoy it most of the time) but I've always hated the clay and wax or detailing in general.

I completely agree. I applaud the guys and gals who wash and wax once a month or more frequently! Did a 6 hour thorough detailing session with a buddy in December. I admit it was fun and great learning experience, but never again. Perhaps if my car was a show car, then I would.

Powaa from that supercharged LS engine! I do like the idea of having a higher powered car alongside the more humble, nimble, chihuahua-on-crack, FRS.

Welp, first autox in the FRS was a relative success. Hadn't done one in over a year, and didn't know anyone there really. My friend went back today and apparently some folks were talking about me. I now have a reputation for being "ballsy."

Cool.

Woooo, 4 day weekend for me!

About to head to the exhaust shop and see what they can do about getting rid of some drone/ lowering some noise with the legsport.

Also, pissed the woman off real good last night when we went out for dinner. She picked a spot that has a bunch of craft brews on tap, thinking that I could try something new. Out of 30 beers, I'd had 29 of them, so I tried the one I hadn't had before and I hated it. She took it extremely personally that I didn't like their selection, when really, I'm just picky about beer, well, snobby might be the better word for it.

Needless to say, I need to get better at hiding displeasure from her. Or maybe she needs to take things less personally. I let her know that I really, really appreciated the thought she put in to finding a new restaurant with a sizable beer menu, and local, organic (hipster) food. Apparently it didn't matter, since I hated the beer.

2k ft, but because of the terrain there is probably 1500 above the ground.
