I just don't get the throw-caution-to-the-wind mindset. I'm still not sure that I've successfully pulled a usable image from my ECU. I sure as hell am not going to flash it with a device that will let you do anything you want. Not without a backup plan, at least.

What did you pull it with? I have had good luck with my OFT but was thinking of just picking up a tactrix since the OFT is a bit finicky hardware wise.

I had to post in one of his threads. I know his brain is melting at the response but how to enable LC is in a thread. It popped up quick when I searched it.

I've broken my share of super expensive shit. I guess I'm being dramatic about being chicken. It's more like I'm not yet satisfied that I can correlate my experience/results directly with those described here by the more experienced folks. There are gaps in understanding that I need to fill before I'll be comfortable pulling the trigger.

Lol. I was thinking of buying a spare. I have a complete harness coming tomorrow. I couldn’t find a good source for a few plugs I needed so I bought the whole thing so I can start building the harness for my second fuel pump.

Expensive machine. If one screws up a discounted generic power drill, one can throw it away and start fresh.

It is more like modding the spinning part of a name brand lathe. The fundamental is simple, but get it wrong and your arm, and mortgage payment get sucked into it!
