Just a shitty turn of circumstances for myself, really. I knew that she did some drugs at times, sometimes with me there, but it was a once in a blue moon thing. I did my best to try and steer her away from it.

We kinda broke things off officially in August last year, and decided to have a fresh start with each other (which, looking back now, fucking LOL) and I was trying to get serious about things. I got my life super on track since then, have had an awesome job for almost 2 years, saving up and almost have enough money for a down payment on a house, basically checking all the boxes. She was just kind of stagnant in the growing up department.

I was trying to make things work with her, and get back together officially with her. Then out of the blue one day, she just told me things weren't going anywhere, and she ended it all late February. Just sucks cause I put a lot of effort in to meet her expectations.

She's probably the first girl that I actually really cared about, and thought of marrying. To the point I asked my mom about getting a pre-nup drawn up for the ring my grand father gave to my grand mother, since I figured I'd be with her forever and ever. But, such is life.

Drugs and partying were/are more important to her. And her selfish choice makes me realize that she does truly deserve whatever the outcome is with her situation.

Guess that's what happens when you're 24, and comfortable in your life and you're dating a 21 year old who "needs to find herself"

I have a Droid Maxx so I'm stuck on KitKat. The phone has zero issues and I'm now saving $25 a month on Verizon because I'm on their "month-to-month" plan that doesn't have the hidden fee to pay for the phone. Until the apps stop working, I have no real reason to switch.

Plus being stuck on KitKat wouldn't be all that bad....

I'm on that work phone life. Work gave us Galaxy Rugby's in 2014, now they've given us Kyocera Duraforce's.

Needless to say, I've been switching between an iPhone 6 and a OnePlus One and a OnePlus 2 for the better part of a year and a half. Without having to pay for the ridiculous rates being charged for service in Canada, I'm able to use whatever phone I want for a year or two, and easily recover the costs.
