Yeah once you've been around a while you can ask questions that take .5 seconds to Google and no one will jump on you. Look at Go, he TLDRs everything and expects it top be summarized for him. And people do it!

lol... you guys are too cool. I read about the bolts like fifteen places here. I laughed at my own laziness after jumping on Finch and Steve's exchange.

It was literally the most slacker purchase I've ever made.

I don't mind it when it's in RT from one of you melon farmers. I hate it when it's a new thread from someone with 3 posts and a bad attitude.

It's really annoying. I think I've become jaded after answering the same few questions fifty times. At least @Tcoat drops in thread links. That's a pretty classy way to do it.

I wouldn't have posted if I didn't have the SPC # memorized haha. And not many people know about using both bolts (though I have posted it quite a few times on here).

I did go look at my FAQ to see if it covered it to provide a link but it doesn't (yet, will add soon). But I'm with @jawn. If you have put your time in and want to save some Google-fu power for something that I know is there but probably not as easy to find I don't mind answering. But if you have 1 post and ask what coilovers to get for a $1000 budget I may wish forum death upon you

I was more familiar with the hardware after helping a bud with his struts a couple weeks ago. When you put it all together in a couple sentences it just clicked. "Oh, the little ones go up top. Duh!"

Well, since jawn sorta passively convinced me that yes, you can lower without sacrificing functionality... figured I'd bug him here instead of making a new thread. Then finch jumped in.. then everyone else Just wanted confirmation that I was doing everything and gathering all the correct parts.

In other news, I now know how to change out captive and disk brake rotors! Captive rotors are a PITA, especially if all the 16 year old bolts are seized/rusted. Hung out with boss and coworker.

Random thought:

Everything I asked about suspension is in finch's thread...stumbled upon it while more random google clicking/reading -__-

I feel ashamed right now.

"Classy?". The passive aggressiveness of just dropping some links almost slaps them in the face! Not to mention how they respond (or don't) to those links determines future their treatment.

No Steve do not feel ashamed. You ask questions that may already be here because you know we are people and respect our opinions.
Some (not all) of the new guys come on here and ask questions and seem to think we are a Google service or something and that we own them an answer.
These two situations are worlds apart!

Going through the Age and Profession thread. The new guys are getting younger and the jobs less technical so we may need to really change up how we answer questions soon anyway!

Today's random topic: How much torque does the motor that powers the two story tall escalators in the airport have? I imagine a lot.
