This is only a problem if traction is lacking. So accelerating in the wet or on icy conditions sure and does not help in braking. It adds weight and awd is more* prone to under-steer.
I'm suggesting better tyres adds better traction all the time. You can't have any traction at any wheel if the tyres aren't up to it.

*yeah, that's a generalization like saying all fwd always understeer.

Best hack I have ever seen is a couple of old Italian dudes with their electric drill wired in to a car battery.

But both batteries at the same time? What are the odds?

A car battery might be hard to lug around the yard weed wacking.

That's why when I replaced my old NiCad tools with Lithium ones I went with Rigid through Home Depot. They may not be the "best" tools but the batteries come with a lifetime replacement warranty.

Shit!

Let them cool down for a bit. They may have a self resetting thermal fuse. The biggest issue with lithium batteries is the BMS.

I let them get back to room temp before I put them in the chargers.

Only thing I could find on line is that they go into "sleep mode" where they are too discharged, so the bms won't allow charge. They say you can try to jump it with another battery to bring it back up into the range, but I don't have a good battery.

I always find it entertaining when someone posts that this car is "gutless" in 6th gear and that you can't pass with it. Well no shit! If you punch it in 6th gear in an automatic what does it do?.... downshift to a more appropriate gear for punching it.

A more powerful car is certainly more forgiving in higher gears, but trying to accelerate aggressively in too high a gear is going to make most cars feel "slow".

I have to do that with my RC batteries sometimes. I set the charger to NiCad at a super low current and bring it up enough the charger will see it.

check ebay if you do end up needing batteries.

last time i needed them, i got 4 m18 6.0 packs for $60/ea in the factory blister packs. they're $150/ea through horme depot.

I should finish my FPV helicopter project. ~sigh~ laundry list of expensive crap to cobble just to say I did it. Maybe it's dumb. I should just take a couple hours of instruction in a real one and call it good.

Rigid warrantee is not what most think. First you must get it registered by serial number. not an easy job with the third party. then the replacement is only one time. Must be done through the third party that will only reply when they feel like it.

All of the big names might have slightly better tools but they kept changing the battery design obsoleting the old line of tools. Spent 6,000 on tools for the shop and the next year they were all obsolete. The company in a big city in Wisconsin told me too bad, just buy new or pay more for old batteries.

The only company that i know of that all tools and all batteries still work together is Ryobi. It seems that they put charging smarts in the battery along with voltage control.
Yes, charging a li battery will need a newer charger.
