Time to do an item can take as long as necessary, but the important thing is that customers should receive enough communication to show their work hasn't been dropped off. All I would've needed were: confirmation he received the item on or around the day USPS said it was signed-for, an ETA ("by the middle of next month"), and then an updated ETA if he figured stuff came up and it would take longer.

My issue with these types of operations is that they don't want to keep you informed. A handle and related work is pretty cheap, but I had the same exact experience when I ordered my nice titanium shift knob too, which cost quite a bit more.

I know this is way out there, but did you ever get the airbag issue you had with your passenger seat sorted a few years back?

I recently got around to replacing my passenger seat to match the driver one. Paid someone to transfer the sensor over, removed and plugged everything in with the battery disconnected, but the dash light never turns off. I get a constant B1650, even if cleared. I went so far as to buy another seat base that had both the heater and sensor in it, but that didn't work either. Every thread I've found has a bunch of troubleshooting steps and theories, but few answers and none that have worked.

K, so light at the cluster gone away when I unplugged the battery to work on replug the fuse side air bag sensor plus when I put this in the passenger seat.

Since then, I haven't seen that light come on the cluster.

The problem with one man shows like that is they take on more work then they can deal with. Between their day job, side job, life, and dealing with that side job there is not enough time in the day. The good ones only take on so much work at a time so to not get overwhelmed.

Thanks! I'll have to try essentially unplugging everything and plugging it back in again with a seatbelt insert then. If that doesn't work, I may end up just buying another OEM limited passenger seat and selling the Recaro to recoup some of the expense.

Oof! Hopefully that works for you. Honestly, only thing that might be causing the problem might be passenger seat sensor is too far in or not sensing it. Some ppl just roll up the sensor and put it under their seat. I put it between the seat and so far it's working (knocking on wood).

Of course but I'm thinking of the narrative. I had to install TeamViewer to create a job number. Huh? That's a new one. I was told they needed to give me a refund. I said so why don't you just put the refund on my credit card which they already have details of. Seriously, some of these scammers are hopeless. Or Maybe the people they scam are even more hopeless. It's a similar story when the NationalBroadbandCarrier calls me to tell me my computer has been infected and they want to show me all the error messages in the event viewer to prove I've been infected.

Them "Do you see the CTRL key? Press the key NEXT to that and tell me what happens".
Me "Nothing"
Them "The key next to the the CTRL key. Press that one."
Me "Yeah I did but nothing happens."
Them "You're running Windows or Macintosh?
Me "Neither, I'm running Ubuntu"
Them "Ubuntu? What's that?"
Me "A version of Linux"
Them *click*

None of the bistros I've been to have had this on the menu. I don't have any idea what this meal is called. Watching this has given me an appetite for something.
