Exercise is so boring that I don't ever stick with it. It's a lame excuse, I know. I'm envious of delivery drivers like the UPS folks. Picked up a seasonal gig with them once. Man, it was great! Pure hustle for eight hours and done.

People wonder why I don't get a riding mower or other powered stuff like that. 80% is to make me get exercise lol. 20% may be because I am stubborn...

That's because you have horrible program design or do go about it the right way lol. I hear that kind of thing all the time.

One of my sons got a part time job working for a UPS distribution center loading trucks. My son is relatively strong, but his full grown height is around 5' 4". He lasted two weeks, and just couldn't take it any longer.

His boss told him when he quit "that's OK you lasted 13 days longer than the last two Marines that came in here looking for part-time work"

No matter how hard I try or how well the program is designed, I cannot enjoy structured exercise for exercise sake. I'd rather go dig a ditch with a purpose than do anything "structured".

When I was a young lad (middle school/high school) my exercise program was roofing with my Dad's company. I started off carrying shingles up the ladder on to the roof. Now there's a well designed lift program for you.

I love a good structured workout plan. Throw on a podcast or some music and I am good to go for a couple hours. Besides my hip killing me lately, being out of routine has been making working out rough for me.

I don't know why I resist the idea of engaging an expert. I vividly remember losing 35 pounds in boot camp. Came out with a six pack that lasted about as many months.

It's still in there somewhere

Long distance bicycling has worked for me but only because it's a man/machine thing. I enjoy zooming along under my own power. I'm still riding the same bike I bought right after boot camp in '85. Most recently paid as much for the seat as I did for the whole bike. $250!

I've ridden that thing all over the world.

So I put this off for a while, as I wanted to avoid one of those impatient people who bitches for not getting their product within a few weeks after order. But... I may have been gypped by Sweidit. At the end of Feb (2/25/21) I inquired about getting my OEM steering wheel custom wrapped. I asked about the turn around time, which Jin informed me it was 2 weeks. Cool. Shipped it to them a few days later as they said I would pay them after it was done.

Towards the end of March, I followed up on the status as it's always nice to know how things are coming along. Was told it was going to be done about mid the following week. This was end of march (i.e. 3/18/21) I was told. After a couple weeks, I never got it.

Around the middle of this month I emailed him again asking for an update. I never got a response. That was 12 days ago. Till that point, I got quick responses from them. By this point I'm heavily leaning towards I got screwed. So, while I'm not planning to smear their name or anything, I think I've written them off for future references. Then again, they got no money out of me and I only spent some to acquire a second steering wheel and ship it. Still annoyed I had to spend that money, but whatevs.

In the mean time, I will check out the Real Leather steering wheel sold on 86Worx.

So honestly, Jin suffers from the same issue(s) as most of these one-man operations.

No customer support person works for him and he can't be arsed to give any kind of update if he's "too busy". In addition to that, he takes on way too much work and (likely but I can't prove it) prioritizes work for people who he knows are moderately well-known and will show off his work.

I had a super similar issue when I had him re-do my ebrake handle last year.

He also made up BS that he never received it for two weeks despite it being signed-for at his address, and then finally emailed me back on week 3 ("found it today hahahaha" not paraphrasing, that was literally his email). So to him he made light of having been paid for the work and received but missed the item to work on.

In the end it took him 2.5 months between when USPS said it was delivered to when I finally received the handle.

Yes, re-wrapping the handle took 2 months.

Anyway, I digress.

Hahaha that's funny. This forum standard is so low, it's lower than my work's standard. At my work, you gotta be mind blowing crazy to get fired. One time, we "couldn't" fire someone cuz he didn't come back to work and could contact him. I was like, he haven't come to work for over a month and didn't return our calls/email. He's gone in my book. But HR Manager didn't think that was legit reason to fire him UNTIL we can tell him we fired him.

Eh I get that, but still should dedicate time to responding to emails or getting people things in a timely order. Otherwise, it's dishonesty, and I'm not going to support that. If he gets back to me at some point, I'll just say he can dedicate it to another BRZ/FRS owner with a yellow interior lol.
