Still getting used to this electric stove top.
It's not terrible but it's definitely different. When I was making something the other night, I "turned the burner off" and set the pot of food back on the same spot, and realized it resumed cooking. With a gas burner, once you turn the gas off then realistically it just begins cooling down. So I need to probably start moving a finished pot/pan of food to either a cool burner or a trivet on the counter.

You don't have to wait until people behind you honk?

Speaking as someone who has driven nothing but 3 pedal cars for the past 20 years, I could get used to flappy paddles.

I didn’t have too much issue with it. Drove both an auto FRS and Cayman in “manual” mode. I actually quite liked it, just not quite as engaging. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Of course I'd hopefully still be hanging onto the BRZ, but still.

For me it’s my knee. If I have a day of strenuous activity it flares up and working the clutch becomes tough. Even track days that are longer sessions start to bug me pushing on the dead pedal to hold myself up in the seat.

![]() Short story. The other day, I was sitting in traffic at a light waiting to turn left on a yellow arrow, when I saw a short gap in the oncoming traffic. So, I decided I could "dart" across the intersection. IF I had been in first gear, like I thought I was, it would have been a piece of cake. However, yep you guessed it, I was in THIRD gear, not FIRST. My old FR-S just don't have much "dart" in it, starting up from third gear -
