Still getting used to this electric stove top.

It's not terrible but it's definitely different.

When I was making something the other night, I "turned the burner off" and set the pot of food back on the same spot, and realized it resumed cooking.

With a gas burner, once you turn the gas off then realistically it just begins cooling down.

So I need to probably start moving a finished pot/pan of food to either a cool burner or a trivet on the counter.

Careful, you think you can, I thought so too, but in the end I had to have my clutch pedal back.

I didn’t have too much issue with it. Drove both an auto FRS and Cayman in “manual” mode. I actually quite liked it, just not quite as engaging.

Honestly while I love that I chose manual for this car 4 years ago, there are definitely times when I shift funny (some days I just consistently can't nail shifts to save my life :eyeroll: ) and think that someday I wouldn't mind getting into an automatic just so I don't need to worry about days like that.

Of course I'd hopefully still be hanging onto the BRZ, but still.

For me it’s my knee. If I have a day of strenuous activity it flares up and working the clutch becomes tough. Even track days that are longer sessions start to bug me pushing on the dead pedal to hold myself up in the seat.

Oh, I may be "ready" for an auto -

Short story. The other day, I was sitting in traffic at a light waiting to turn left on a yellow arrow, when I saw a short gap in the oncoming traffic. So, I decided I could "dart" across the intersection. IF I had been in first gear, like I thought I was, it would have been a piece of cake.

However, yep you guessed it, I was in THIRD gear, not FIRST. My old FR-S just don't have much "dart" in it, starting up from third gear -
