Or you could ask me. All naval air stations, including carriers, have a NIST-traceable cal shop. I've been doing that shit forever.

Excellent, another question for our expert, how often do they require checking? Based on number of hours used or just every 6 or 12months?

That is how we calibrate our noise dosimeter calibration devices. Once a year we send the main calibration device to be calibrated by a calibrated calibrator. Not sure how they calibrate the calibrator that calibrates our calibrator so we can calibrate our calibrators.

I think torque wrenches were calendar intervals but calibration was just part of a broader process.

That calibrator is calibrated to one that is calibrated to the one at Her Majesty's Ministry of something-or-other.

Have to make sure the noise is measured accurately.

so i just got a call(never rang, went straight to voicemail) from 'kevin' about some vacant land in stark(starke?) county that he wants to purchase, said he already sent a purchase agreement to me(don't have anything), and if i don't call back, he'll place the phone number on the do not call list... never used any personal information like my name in any of this...

call the number back, it rings 4 times, goes to a voicemail with the same person, first thing he says is "if you do not leave a message i won't know you called, please reference the lot number and purchase agreement number in your message." no thanks, not leaving any

smells like a scam somehow, but i mostly called back to try to make sure someone's not buying up land in my name. i guess i'll wait for the tax bill!

google turns up nothing on this

YIKES, you're lucky that Kevin is cutting you in on this deal. The real estate market down there is HOT!

I'd suggest you send him a non-refundable deposit in bitcoins ASAP.
