My in-laws have had problems with their local post office, but that seems like a different problem.

Amazon is it's own delivery service with their own drivers (here at least.)

Yeah, ours comes through the mail, or FedEx/UPS depending on some sort of computer algorithm.

Last year, Oct - Jan, all the Amazon delivery was via USPS on this rural route.
The vans were all loaded up trundling around all day doing Amazon deliveries.
They only delivered the actual mail after 7-8pm. Got it from the mailbox in the dark.
Or next morning. In the snow.

Weather here right now is reminiscent of mid-day during a blizzard. Double Ick.
May not hit up the mailbox until Tuesday.

lolol... picturing it. I have so many snake stories... LITERALLY almost stepped directly on a big fat wide-headed yellow something, hiking up along the Albuquerque volcanoes. Was already in motion so I stumbled hard when stepping wide to avoid it. Didn't even look back. Just kept on going thinking "Well, that almost really sucked."

Lol it's creepy how they let you get real close before freaking out. Almost ran one over with the lawnmower when it jumped and gave me a heart attack. We've got at least 3 at my new place, as I pretty much live in the woods. One seems to be living under my garage.
