There’s a huge gap there. Leaves & some random stuff can go between rear window & trunk. Rubber seal will reduce the chance of stuff get in between.

ship product, breathe.

people get product, half don't say anything, and bash the finished product in every single blog, forum, and web article they can. the other half is so annoyed, they send emails demanding free products, and then get angry that 3+ figure products can't be had for free, and proceed to bash said products in every forum, blog, and web article...

rule #1 of business: people suck.
rule #2 of business: you're only as good as your planning. (most people don't plan very well)
It gets no better with the big businesses either! The only difference is the amounts of money and the number of people complaining on behalf of each customer.

Hmmm.....OK. Kind of like a LeafGuard for roof gutters?

I've only got a few pine needles at the bottom of that drain around the trunk in the past 6 years. However, my car is garaged, so that may make a difference.

OR, maybe I just drive so fast that the trash just blows right on by that gap -

My car is usually in garage, but sometimes parked outside & the leaves & pine needles love to go in there

this was why i got the trd version. i got tired of picking all the crud out from in there every time i opened the trunk. it was cheaper than the time i was spending. not to mention snow removal!

not really. this week was actually pretty good with the exception of wednesday getting rained on hard while trying to troubleshoot power to a gas station sign, and then having to call it quits after not making any progress 3 hours in(we believe the pipe broke apart in the ground, and all methods to blow it out failed)...

the line is somewhat of a running joke in the family. my boss trained under my dad. my dad's ran 2 separate businesses, but got out of most of it for various reasons.

as my boss was finishing up his training, he started seriously discussing with my dad starting his own business, having a lot to do with the the positioning and politics of the company.
the very first thing that my dad told him is "people suck." "as employee's, they screw up and cost money, or just plain don't show up. as customers, they expect everything for free and yesterday."

the line comes up more often than you'd think. like when new hire's get mysteriously 'sick' on mondays and big game days. or when historically-annoying-customers call at noon and expect that we can just run 2 hours away to take care of an issue they're having, like we were just sitting around all morning for 4 hours waiting for their specific call.

a big portion of the customer base rarely gives much more then 24 hours notice that they've scheduled us for a specific time on any upcoming jobs, despite the fact that the contract might have been signed months ago, and they knew when we were going to need to be there on a specific date a week before.

Woke up at 4:45am this morning because apparently my toe must still have the stinger or something embedded under the skin from the bee or other thing I stepped on last Sunday. It had bothered me until Monday, but then the rest of the week it was completely fine. But last night it started getting itchy again and a little irritated, and then I woke up an hour ago because it was unbearably itchy and swollen enough that I currently cannot bend that toe. So I just checked in online for a local urgent care that opens at 8am to get it checked out.

Have to take a load of crap from our dek renovations to the dump today.
They have special covid instructions.

COVID-19 Service Update
If you need to visit an EnviroDepot to dispose of garbage, please observe the following measures to help slow the spread of COVID-19:

- Maintain physical distancing of 2 metres.

- Cash is not accepted until further notice. Credit and Debit continue to be accepted.

- Complete your visit safely and quickly, and then please leave the depot.

- Do not mingle and socialize.

Really? I can't hang out there? Do they realize they are spoiling my plans for the weekend? How else am I to meet new and interesting people?

i always end up in a conversation with someone at the scrap yard.

ok, usually it's a cracked-out drug addict that just brought in 15 pop cans and he's trying to convince me to buy a 4 year old cell phone he found on the road. but still. socialize!
