I didn't get my PA property tax bill this year for some reason, and according to my neighbors they moved to due date from June to April 15th. And I'm supposed to close on selling it next week.

Edit, I did get a bill, and wrote a check, but it was never cashed for some reason. Too much going on...

I suggest you (or your agent) check with the escrow company to make sure they get it sorted out.

I always thought the whole taking part of the paycheck and then giving you a little back at the end of the year thing is a little silly. I mean the governments mess with the markets so much now anyway can't they just say we get 20% or whatever of everything and you guys fight for the rest after? Instead of all the hassle.

Well, if you estimated all the deductions correctly you wouldn't get any back in the spring.

Whether there should be said many deductions or some other tax scheme is probably a question we won't be discussing long before ichi starts showing us his hammer collection.

I was thinking like just have them take there own stake right from the printing press rather than waiting for a commission. I guess we need that illusion of control though.
