I remember an interview with the sheriff of Humbolt county before it became legal in Cal. They asked him if he thought legalization would bring more pot. He said there was no way there could be more than was already there.

Yep, I heard that back then that marijuana was the highest valued cash crop in California -

There were a bunch of "whoa is me" storys in the news once it went legal about how all these guys that grew and sold pot illegally could no longer pollute, illegally divert streams, and make thousands tax free. Boo-hoo.
