I wanted a single story house, but wife fell in love with this two story. At least the master is on the ground floor so I never HAVE TO go upstairs. And I'm worth more alive than dead; no life insurance.

Well burst my bubble. I like how they point down. They light up hallways nice, plus the one I put on the kitchen counter is great. Now I can get a glass out of the cupboard and water from the fridge door in the middle of the night without turning a light on. The only thing I don't like is they are a bit pricy at $14/each.

Ok, I would like your opinion.

I was concerned when I moved in that there are no CFGI outlets in the kitchen or bath. An electrician told me I was good because the baths, kitchen and hot tub circuits have CFGI breakers.

True?

My house was built in 1976 and all outside, kitchen and bathroom circuits are GFI breakers so there is no reason to doubt him. Easy enough to test.

Welp …… you could test out that theory …. by taking out a life insurance policy on yourself …. and naming her as the beneficiary -

Living on the ground isn't that much safer.. There is the possibility of the floor above collapsing, risks of flooding hence drowning and the possibility that the postman doesn't ring twice...

Well, I finally found the missing plug-in flashlight. Yep, it was under the bed in the guest/granddaughters bedroom. I guess it fell out of the outlet in the kitchen and slid under the bed in the back bedroom -
