OK, but why are you trading in your 2015 for a 2017?

It is a good looking car -

Yeah, swung by Kobe Steel and Takata while I was there. You'd be surprised by the damage you can do by swapping 396.017 for 396.071.

There you go dude. Welcome to the Subaru master race...lol just kidding but in all seriousness, that’s a fantastic deal. I thought about doing the same with my 15 and still might, but I’ll wait a while. Maybe the next gen What kept you away from the Miatas, Imprezas etc?

I do like the Ford and Chevy trucks from the forties. If I was doing a restomod I think that's where I would start. If I had to pick though, a 1939 retromoded Chevy Suburban would probably be my truck choice...
Back in HS, I bought a 1937 Chev pickup, paid $75 for it. Yep, it looked about like this one - but it ran -

At present fossil fuels used for electricity generation are predominantly coal (44%) and gas(23%); petroleum accounts for approximately 1%.

Surface rust, it'll buff out.

Had a buddy in high school who bought a mess of a '47 pickup (well his Dad did) when he was 14. He and his Dad spent the next couple of years restoring it so that when he got his license it was ready to drive. Of course, it helped that his Dad owned a body shop with some "free help", but my friend worked on it about every day after school, and on weekends.

When they were done it was one great looking truck. Looked just about like this one.
