I would like to get a water softner, but can't use the traditional type because you can't have the backwash going into a septic. I need to look into the type of service where they come out regular and change the tanks. |

Yea, that is odd, I didn't realize they worked that way. I always assumed they worked like tankless water heaters where the water was heated at the time of dispensing. I mean, how much "instant hot water" would you have to use to where these even make sense?

Ours here heats like 2 gallons of it. I have never ever seen the point since the most anybody ever uses at a time is about a quart.

From years of playing sports, up till I was 32, I had a large amount of injuries that have forced me to take better care of myself. The worse of which was knocking the femoral head of my right femur through the back of the hip socket when I was 20. Joint injuries suck and are with you forever. I'm really kicking myself now for pushing so hard when I was young to more or less earn a participation trophy. |

Though I don’t see the point. Can’t do anything I couldn’t when I was 19 (well legally)

One place I lived growing up had septic and well and the softener changes. Also it would dye hair and anything else it touched... I only have a softener inline with the espresso machine. A little under counter unit. And we loved having the instant hot while we did. Old house. Might skip it now that it's espresso and cold brew, no pour over. And the tea takes more attention to water temp than an instant gives. It was a huge luxery in the old place though. Now I just want a kitchen designed for cooking, not microwaving meals.

Got my corner cabinet built. Kinda tricky with two curves. Installed a light that turns on when you open the door. Also installed my DC TV/DVD on a drawer slide. ( its got a black elastic strap holding it in place in the photo) I can move it if I'm cooking to avoid heat damage or If I want it centered on the couch. It moves 23", or over the sink. (this also allows access to the rear of the tv while standing in the door way)
![]() ![]() Installed the center trim strip from the headliner with some screws, that an upolstered button covers, between the side doors and passenger door to trim that part out. Oh, and installed a strap that secures the 5gal propane tank. I also installed led interior lights that are attached to a switch on the dash that was already there. ![]() What I've got left to finish: the passenger seat swivel install, front door panels, the dash, and the roof rack /awning. Possibly forgetting something

Started at around 207lbs and have been working out almost two months. My weight is hard to change, especially since I don't do cardio. I'm eating healthier than I was before, but my calories eaten/burned is pretty much even it seems. I hit 204lbs last week but was bad over the weekend and weighed 207 on Monday. Back down to 204 this morning haha
