decided to "truck" shop today. socal is proud of their used cars. and so many have bad histories.

in the end i decided to keep my suv since its paid off, i own it, and have driven it so much i know the small things that are wrong and know what it sounds like.

did test fit myself in the new ford ranger, kicked tires on a sport "SLT" model and was impressed. will make for a migthy fine used truck someday

I've stated on sister site, so thought to share this info w actual 86/BRZ owners.

Random 86/BRZ fact of the day.
Open-top 86 almost happened. Make it more interesting, it was going to be built at Magna Steyr (where currently Supra is built). Due to some agreement issue it never happened. Not sure agreement from Magna Steyr or Subaru (my guess Subaru). Who knew... they had design ready to built, but that design never happened.

If I have to go chain, I go Round Table, but I don't like it. BJs is meh. I mean, I loved that stuff as a kid 30 years ago, but I think they had a different recipe back then. It's like how Chevy's used to be good. Remember the tortilla machine?

My favorite pizza is at an old family pizza parlor in Ferguson, MO, called Faraci, which is a few blocks of where my in-laws live.

The only downside is that it takes three men to go pick it up. One to guard the car, one to pay for it and one to guard the one with the money paying for it.

Yep, that neighborhood has "evolved" in the past 50 years. It was one of the businesses that wasn't burned down during the Ferguson riots - so, you know the pizza is good!

Counter-counterpoint, My own homemade pizza is the best of all. I'd make 'em bigger if I had a real pizza oven but a big-ass ceramic floor tile will have to do.

Psht! In California, you can get anything. There are differences in regional water and flavor, but I don't think they apply much to pizza. Bagels... we can't get good bagels in California.
