Got back from two weeks in Hawaii for work. busy time. I brought my computer and gameboy thinking id use it.. Big mistakes
when I wasnt on shift, i was crawling around Oahu taking care of the stuff i havent done on the 7 other times I went.
I also visited the Utah, Montana and Arizona ( as close as I could get) to pay my respects to the lads.

Got to swim near Mokoli'i as well, I missed swimming alot, and theres a joke in there about being a sailor and swimming. We try to keep water out of the people space.

Anyways Ill post pictures if anyone is interested. We hit up Koko head, Diamond Crater, the polynesian cultural center ( Samoa has become my favorite country of all time) chinaman's head, North Shore, The art district, Leonards, Rainbow Drive in, Waikiki, Biki bikes!, Ford Island, ( even saw the SBX-1) and Manoa falls.

I didn't go anywhere. I just didn't come here.
Had a great Birthday Party/Pig roast yesterday though. The picture that Ultra posted was the pig. He was sort of like you and flew 2500 miles just for supper.

A deer almost ran me over today. I was weeding by the road and heard a clickity clack on the road behind me. A car spooked it and just zipped right by me lol.

I almost nailed a deer a few days ago. I swerved and missed it just after it jumped the Jersey divider. It ran across the highway and this guy in the slow car lane must have not seen it. Hit it dead on. Thing went about 30ft in the air. Like 4x the height of the car that hit it. Guy locks up the brakes after the fact (probably just spooked himself at that point). I guess paying attention is better than driving slow (not that you have to choose between the two but thinking you're safe just because you drive so slow your bored/distracted...)

My Mom once had someone in front of her hit a deer, which proceeded to fly over her car and land on the car behind her.

I counter sunk T-nuts into the top and bolted the floor in from under the van. Cut and installed new front carpet. I added more floor bolts after this pic.

Decided to use 10' long t&g boards for the celing, they come in 12'. measured the rear door panels I removed. They are 24" wide! Perfect!
