If I had my old boss, I'd totally email him that and say nothing else. But I like my current boss a little better and don't want to be shitty about it.

I am considering an email. I'm just afraid emailing it is rude. I think I'd like to tell her in person, just have to relocate to an area no one can hear me say it.

I'd like to give the two weeks for the sake of respect and potential call backs about how well I performed here. I've just never had to give a legitimate, business setting two weeks before and it's actually making me nervous even though I know all I have to do is literally say, "I have a new job, this is my two weeks."

just tell your boss you need to talk privately. they have an office or no?

Not giving notice could come back to bite you so I'd definitely try. Sone places will fire you when you give notice but it's not common and you could probably start your new job early

She sits out in the open like the rest of us. My manager has an office but I'll be communicating with my supervisor. There's a room we use for meetings though, we'll just talk there.

Not sure how strict your work is, but some businesses require you to write them a 2 wks notice (example: my work).

You can verbally tell them & afterward ask them to see if they need written one as well.

Yeah. I would email one either way after the verbal just to have a a written record. include the final date you will be working
