Guys, guys. If I get the job offer I'm hoping to get today, how the hell do I put in my two weeks? (seriously, I've had this job since college and it's my only 'real' job. Everything else was part time crap).

Just write a letter of resignation (google for format) and hand it to your boss and tell them how much of a pleasure it was:

a) getting bent over and taking it dry
b) working for such a great company
c) being a bitch
d) making your job more difficult

You can email your boss saying you got different job and this will be the 2 week notice. Simple as that.

IDK, I just bring snacks & drinks whenever I do road trips... & I'm no expert in camping. I hate outdoor/camping stuff.

Dude just don't sweat it and go in and let them know you're leaving and you want to put in your two weeks. Tell them you have another job if you feel like it, it not tell them you dont want to disclose a reason. If the job pertains to your major, just say that it's a job that relates to your major and they'll be cool about it.

Honestly don't think about it too much. I got a new job and all I did was straight up quit on the spot.

Yeah I prefer to find a nice hotel to sleep at but I need to be prepared I have no idea where I will end up, hell I dont even know if I will make it back

I guess the reason I'm even asking is because this company is really uptight about information, so I can't just walk over to my supervisor and say, "I'm quitting, here's my two weeks." because everyone would hear me and they're not supposed to know. (Seriously, this place is stupid)

Haha a is probably the best option. Actually I saw a picture a while back of a poorly draw dinosaur and it said, "this is a t-rex, he also happens to be my two weeks notice." If I had my old boss, I'd totally email him that and say nothing else. But I like my current boss a little better and don't want to be shitty about it.

I am considering an email. I'm just afraid emailing it is rude. I think I'd like to tell her in person, just have to relocate to an area no one can hear me say it.

I'd like to give the two weeks for the sake of respect and potential call backs about how well I performed here. I've just never had to give a legitimate, business setting two weeks before and it's actually making me nervous even though I know all I have to do is literally say, "I have a new job, this is my two weeks."
