I got her all med-ded up, so hopefully she will feel better in the morning or I'll take her down to the tribal medicine man or the vet.

So that's the secret to humfrz' longevity...don't go to the doctor, go to the vet.

Nice morning here. There is a break in the storms. I better get my ass moving and change that thermostat in the Honda before it starts raining again. Seems like I've had to do something to every car this week.

This is why I don't buy older cars. It's not that I can't afford the repairs. It's not that I can't do them myself. It's that I don't want to be bothered. Plus crash safety.

Then again, a thermostat is a stupid easy repair, usually.

The civic is a '06 I bought new and now is at 135k miles. Can't complain, it has been a great car.

I guess I really am the weird one. As long as I'm not rushed, I find repair work to be the most therapeutic routine in my life.

Yep, it's cheaper that way. The office visit is less and the medications are cheaper. However, you do have to remember to adjust the dose, based on mg/kg of body weight -

Well, as forecasted, we had a dusting of show here last night.

The region is paralyzed and surely half of the population will die -

Plus doing it with my son. Priceless. No rush, I have other cars. Got a thermostat for $28 on amazon.

We're deciding which of the grandkids to eat first. Tough choice.

I have found that there is nothing "stupid easy" when it comes to working on old cars -

Wanna hear some stories? I thought not -

Only the sedans and compacts. The SUVs will all be fine no matter how poorly driven.

Oh, OK, since we don't have an SUV, maybe our daughter, who does, will bring us up some provisions??
