Atlanta is a pretty big "Hollywood" town now, maybe she could just rent someone who is charming and Echo could stay home...

I saw that movie at Christmas when my wife never left the W channel. About 5 different versions. Now it is time for the Valentines versions to start.

FYI. Skyline Boulevard - Hwy 35 is closed in both directions to all vehicles between the main entrance to Skyline Ridge Preserve (about 1.5 miles south of Page Mill Road) and the INE Ranch (about 4 miles north of Hwy 9).

OK, present day story - while I can still remember it -

Over the past 12 hours it has snowed here (about 4-6") ya, I know, a dusting.

Since the temps are in the mid 20's the snow stuck, not melting.

Now, @Tcoat, I know NOT to try to back out of the snow covered driveway.

I watched the neighbor shovel off his driveway, but, that's NOT for me. Old men have heart attacks by shoveling snow.

So, I grabbed a 30 pound bag of salt and headed up the steep driveway to spread it around. NOT remembering that the second most frequent cause of injury for old men is FALLING.

Sure enough, my house slippers got wound up with the bag of salt and down I went. I semi tucked into my combat roll, but my head didn't get tucked in quite far enough - BAM

However, I'm OK - I think??

A couple of pills and a looong nap, I'll be just dandy again -

Thanks. Yep, they are not here today because of the snow. If they would have been here, guess who would have been shoveling snow and spreading salt - NOT ol pa-pa -

I'm not sure, depends on which eye I look out of -

Due to the snowy roads my granddaughters snow shovel and icing crew didn't make it up the hill today -

I am surprised to hear you say that having to spend the day hanging out by a pool with lonely, bored women isn't just the thing...

I mean, what could possibly go wrong...
