At my parents' quiet neighborhood for the holiday.
Of course around 12am I heard loud talking outside, started observing out the window. Saw four people loitering around my car (extremely unusual in this quiet neighborhood). I got a bad feeling about it, so I kept watching for 10 minutes. Noticed one of them started drawing/writing in the moisture on my car, ran out with my dad, three of the four got in their parallel-parked car and left right away saying out the window for us not to bother the fourth guy with his dog. That guy was clearly wasted, alcohol coming off his breath, said he didn't see his buddies touch my car despite it happening in front of his face. And on top of that he said he lives a couple houses over and has lived on this street for "6-7 years". Meanwhile neither my dad nor I recognized him, and he drunkenly wandered down the block with his big german shepherd. Not something I'd have expected to have happen here at all. I don't mind the drunk thing so much, maybe it was a late 'friendsgiving' party and they were on their way out, whatever. But for one thing, it's midnight so if you're going to be rowdy, don't do it in a quiet neighborhood. For another, why the fuck are you touching somebody else's property? Fucking idiots.

Found a model kit I want. I had one back in about 1980. Painted it to look exactly like my 1978 Euro GTI with gold BBS rims. It even came with a little electric motor and turnable front wheels so you could have it run around the floor. My car was white with a red strip down the side. Took me 2 years to air brush it perfect. I don't know what happens to it, one of those things that just disappears with roommates and stuff when young. I don't know if I could build it as good now with my F-ed up hands, but I would like to try.
